With the gracious help of Damien Fate, we have combined forces to allow you to save avatar poses with custom hand poses created in Fate Hand Poser Pro.
Requirements for creating poses with custom hand poses:
• AnyPose BVH 1.8 or later
• Fate Hand Poser Pro 3.2 or later
Fate Hand Poser and AnyPose both play many animations at the same time to accomplish what they do. Second Life limits us to playing 30 animations at once. Using Fate Hand Poser in combination with AnyPose goes over that limit while creating poses. Changes have been made to AnyPose to try and limit interference between the two HUDs, but it is highly recommended to make the settings changes below before using both HUDs at the same time.
Suggested settings:
• Use the HUD that came with your Bento body or Bento hands to shut off ALL hand animations. This is critical, as any hand animation that your Bento body/hands play could prevent you from seeing the Fate Hand Poser custom animation, or may cause joints animated by AnyPose to become un-posed.
• Shut down any AO you are using. AO animations may take animation slots away from FHP and AnyPose that they need to properly display your pose.
Wear both HUDs, and stand on an AnyPose BVH pose stand. When you are ready to save your pose, click "Save BVH" and AnyPose will communicate with the FHP Pro HUD to gather finger position info. You should see messages chatted about the progress of that communication. Note that wrist angle is not imported from FHP. Also, at this time, AnyPose Animator does not support Fate Hand Poser.
If, while making your pose, you notice joints animated by AnyPose to move away from the position you set, try clicking the "Replay Pose" button on the HUD to fix your pose.
If you are aware of chat commands that will enable and disable hand poses for your Bento hands or body, let me know. I may be able to automate turning off hand poses when both HUDs are in use in a future update.
Thank you,
Phate Shepherd
